Leadership Foundation International (FOUNDATION) was established in 2005 by young energentic young gentlman maned Ishmael Barfi who realized the need for young people to be strongly active in leadership due to the attitude of some of his colleagues towards leadership during his Senior High School in one of the prestigious School name Accra Academy.

Ishmael was then the President of the Ghana United Nations Students and Youth Association (GUNSA), President of the Writers Club and Vice President and co-founder of Young Writers Forum on campus.

Also, the class Student Representative of his course General Arts.

due to that, he decided to set up an institution that will serve the purpose of grooming young people to take leadership positions and other related leadership tasks to boost their interpersonal relationsip as well as discover, develop as well as sustain and maintain their rich and inherent leadership God gifted talents to improve the standard of living and conditionso f their colleagues as well as the nation as a whole.
